Jocelyn Stringer

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jocelyn came to the Theatre after she left the bright lights and hubbub of Hollywood. She received her BA in Theatre Arts at CSU, Chico in 2000. She was a founding member of the Shoebox Theatre Ensemble and an inaugural member of the Blue Room Theatre Company. Having worked mostly in northern California with small community-oriented companies for over a decade, she has longed for the invigoration and challenge of a city audience. Over the last 15 years Jocelyn has worked on over 100 different productions in numerous capacities. Some of her favorite roles have included: Kate in "The Taming of the Shrew", Chastity (Bianca) in "The Taming of the Shrew", the Cat in "References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot", the Price[ss] in "La Bete", Ensemble in "Bright Ideas", Helena in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Sister Elizabeth in "The Book of Liz", Ensemble in "Hamlet: Quarto One", Edward/Vicky in "Cloud Nine". Jocelyn is ecstatic over her return to the stage, moreover by her return via Off Broadway West.
