Randy Hurst joins Off Broadway West's theatre company following his performance as "Ando" in their successful run of
"The Ladies of the Camellias". Randy's acting career spans 35 years and began in Dallas Texas at "Theatre Three",
studying and acting with veteran professions such as Larry O'Dwyer, Norma Young, Camilla Carr, Stephen Tobolowsky, and playwright Beth Henley.
He cut his teeth on edgy, provocotive rock musicals such as "The Me Nobody Knows", "The Canterbury Tales", and
"Godspell". He then moved into contemporary comedy such as Bruce Jay Freidman's "Scuba Duba". He moved to San Francisco
and began studying with Bill Ball at A.C.T. in the late seventies and other resident actors such as Mark Murphy, Andrew Hurteau, Paul Finochiarro, and
Marvin Greene. Randy has performed in the San Francisco theatre productions of "The Rimers of Eldritch" at A.C.T.'s Sutdio Performances,
"Lovers and Other Strangers" at the Shelton Theatre, "The Notebook of Trigorin" at the Hillbarn Theatre in Foster City,
as well as Amy Freed's "Freedomland" with Atmos Theatre, in Woodside. Randy is a psychiatric nurse administrator at a major public hospital
in San Francisco.
